Epy Kusnandar, who passed away on Wednesday (3/12/2025) due to illness at RS PON Cawang, had left a special message related to an important figure in his career, Aris Nugraha. Aris is known to be the director of the soap opera PREMAN PENSIUN, where Epy successfully portrayed the iconic character Kang Mus.

"Three days before he left, he conveyed the same message to me. He said he had been imagining, Bun, later in Bandung, Papi and Kio will always be beside where Uwa sits. Papi and Kio will be next to Uwa. Papi will not go anywhere," said Karina Ranau when met at TPU Jeruk Purut, South Jakarta, on Thursday (04/12/2025).

The message seemed to be a sign of deep loyalty and gratitude from Epy to the director. Karina also wondered about the mysterious meaning behind her husband's words.

"Honestly, Uwa Aris, what mystery is behind this, Bun?," Karina continued, echoing her curiosity.

On the same occasion, Karina also conveyed her apologies to Aris Nugraha because Epy had been restless and wanted to go to Yogyakarta, but his physical condition no longer allowed it.
