Erin Wartia Submits CCTV Evidence, Claims Hand Was Actually Forcefully Pulled by Former Household Staff

Erin Wartia's party brought strong evidence to refute the allegations of abuse reported by her former household staff, Herawati. The evidence in the form of CCTV footage from the house has been submitted to the South Jakarta Metro Police investigators for consideration in the examination.

Erin's legal counsel, Adlina Amalia, stated that the footage details the interaction between her client and the reporter. The facts on the ground are claimed to be very different from the narrative that has been circulating in public.

"For the explanation of the CCTV, it just so happens that there are a lot of them in that house, approximately 15 CCTV cameras. So everything is detailed about what the former household assistant did in the house, with circumstances that are suspected to indeed involve smoking inside the house, even though it is in areas where the CCTV is difficult to find, but it will definitely be clearly seen that the household assistant was indeed smoking there," explained Adlina Amalia when met at the South Jakarta Police, Friday (22/5/2026).

The lawyer expressed their astonishment after seeing the complete recording. According to them, it was actually Erin Wartia who received unpleasant treatment from her former assistant.

"And what is quite surprising from the CCTV results is that the situation is reversed, in fact, our client is seen being forcibly pulled by the hand outside to call the police, and our client refused," asserted Adlina Amalia.

Furthermore, Erin's legal team also denied the existence of any physical violence committed by their client. They questioned the absence of medical evidence from the reporting party if indeed abuse had occurred.

"Our client denies any acts of violence. So the analogy is, if there really was such violence, the reporter would definitely go to the hospital, to the emergency room, but there is none. And spontaneously, they would surely show their injuries shortly after the incident," he said.

Erin herself, who was in the car, made a brief comment regarding today's examination results. She appeared confident with the evidence that her legal team has submitted to the police.

"Just ask my lawyer later, okay? I'm tired, thank you. The important thing is that everything is safe. No (worries), everything is good. Thank you." said Erin.
