Erwin Prasetya Passed Away, Ahmad Dhani: He was the Most Diligent in Praying 5 Times a Day Among Us

Kapanlagi.com - The sudden departure of Erwin Prasetya deeply saddens Ahmad Dhani. Although they have not worked together for a long time, Ahmad Dhani remembers the times they formed the band Dewa 19 together.

In Ahmad Dhani's eyes, Erwin was a very diligent worshipper compared to himself and his other friends. This was revealed by Dhani through his recent Instagram post.

Dhani has many memories with Erwin over the years. But what he wants to remember from the death of the bassist is how diligent he was in worship.

"Among us (@de19wa), Erwin was the most diligent in performing the 5 daily prayers.
Innalillahi wa Inna illaihi rojiun. Insyaa Allah husnul khotimah. Passing away in the month of Ramadan is the dream of all of us," Dhani wrote.

2. Displaying Old Photos with Erwin

Just like Ari Lasso, Dhani also displayed old photos with Erwin. In the photo, it seems like they were shooting a music video because director Dimas Djayadiningrat can be seen in it.

However, Dhani didn't write any caption about when this photo was taken. What is certain is that Ari Lasso was still the vocalist at that time, so it is estimated to have been taken before Ari left Dewa19 in 1997.

Dhani and Erwin last worked together on the album Cintailah Cinta. In 2002, Erwin decided to leave Dewa 19 and was replaced by Yuke.
