Incidentally, this beautiful girl of Maluku-Javanese descent has worked for the UN, and certainly has had a bad experience with sexual violence. Lady admitted that she had been a victim of verbal violence.

"At that time, I was on the street, suddenly there was a guy who spoke rudely, even though my clothes were not vulgar," said Lady Diandra.

Lady revealed how violence against women still frequently occurs in Indonesia. Violence against women can happen anywhere and to anyone.

That is why through 'Light 2 Hope', Lady will focus on increasing awareness, victim protection, and advocacy at the national level. Although awareness of this issue is already quite high, deeper understanding and prevention efforts are still very important.

Lady also never tires of reminding everyone who is vulnerable to sexual violence to have the courage to speak up if they experience violence.

"For all of us, we need to understand what the meaning is and what can be considered as sexual violence," she said.

"If you already understand and see or experience sexual violence, don't be afraid to report it to people around you who can protect you," she continued.

2. Not an Easy Thing

In addition, Lady acknowledges that the struggle to speak out about the issue of sexual violence against women is not an easy thing. This is because access to funding is also a challenge, especially since many Indonesian people cannot afford psychological support.

Lady hopes that Light 2 Hope can become a platform for victims to voice their experiences without fear.

"The hope is that Light 2 Hope will trigger more discussions about boundaries, consent, and other elements, shaping a culture that is anti-sexual violence in everyday life. The clear goal is prevention and reduction of cases, with a priority on victim protection," she concluded.
