Experiencing Severe Bleeding, Sandy Pas Band Struggles Between Life and Death

Kapanlagi.com - Pas Band drummer, Sandy Andarusman, had to be rushed to the hospital. The man born on July 7, 1970, experienced severe bleeding after undergoing hemorrhoid or piles surgery about 10 days ago.

"I had hemorrhoid surgery 10 days ago and everything went smoothly. But on Tuesday night (1/6/2021), from 10 pm to 6 am, I had 11 bowel movements with full blood," said Sandy when contacted on Thursday morning (3/5/2021).

"Tuesday night was crucial, everyone was sleeping while I was struggling between life and death," he continued.

1. Considering it as a Normal Thing

Initially, Sandy thought what she experienced was a normal thing that happened after surgery. However, over time, she felt that something was not right. Her condition continued to deteriorate drastically. She even almost fainted.

"I thought it might be the effect of the surgery, but it turns out I almost fainted and it was dangerous. Finally, I went to the hospital with the help of my neighbor, and luckily it wasn't too late because if it's late, vital organs in the body can be damaged, like the kidneys and heart, they need blood," she said.

2. Second Operation

Upon arriving at the hospital, Sandy was immediately well taken care of. For the bleeding caused by damaged blood vessels, Sandy had to undergo a second operation.

"So, I was helped with medications to prevent bleeding, and the lost blood fluid has been replaced, but the leakage that occurred needs to be closed. So, at 11 o'clock, a further surgical procedure will be performed to close the leaking blood vessels," she said.

3. For Goodness Sake

Sandy, who is suffering from stage 4 hemorrhoids, admits that it is difficult for her to undergo another surgery. However, for her own good, she reluctantly agrees to go back into the operating room.

"Actually, having to undergo surgery again is not easy for me. My blood vessels will be closed again, and I will have to rest in bed and avoid eating hard foods. Please pray for me," she said.
