Father Passed Away, Melly Mono: Alhamdulillah I Can Still Hug Dad

Kapanlagi.com - The beautiful singer Melly Herlina or better known as Melly Mono, Teddy Parlin Widjaja, passed away early Thursday morning (3/2/2022). The former vocalist of the music group SHE feels grateful that she could still hug her father before taking his last breath.

"Alhamdulillah I can still hug Dad, that's all, I'm really grateful that Allah is so good at arranging everything," said Melly Mono at the TPU Kandang Jakarta Selatan, Saturday (5/2/2022).

1. Many Memories from Father

Many memories of Melly Mono with her father. She always remembers her father's message, Melly Mono is always reminded to take care of her health. Considering that her father is an elderly person who is very focused on health.

"So Papa is very concerned about health, he always asks me to take care of my health. In the morning, he always calls me and says 'Mel, sleep well.' That's it, he always cares about me," she said.

2. Still Exchanging Messages with Dad

In fact, a few days before her father passed away, Melly Mono received a short message from her father asking her to take care of her health.

"Last Tuesday night, he called but I didn't answer. So I WhatsApped him back and said, 'You called last night, Melly didn't answer.' He just said, 'Take care, always take care of your health.' He always asked about regular check-ups," said Melly.

3. Complaining of Chest Pain

Previously reported, Teddy Parlin Widjaja passed away on Thursday early morning (3/2/2022). Later, Teddy Parlin Widjaja's body was buried in TPU Kampung Kandang, South Jakarta, on Saturday (5/2/2022).

Melly Mono is not sure about the chronology of her father's death because she no longer lives with her father. The information obtained by Melly Mono is that before taking his last breath, her father complained of pain in his chest.

"Actually, because we don't live in the same house, so the detailed chronology of the information I got was on Wednesday night at 9 o'clock he complained of chest pain, went to sleep. After waking up at half past 1, he started snoring like in the throes of death. Then after that, he was immediately called from home and his condition was unconscious," said Melly Mono.

4. No Last Message

Meanwhile, the information obtained by Melly Mono from the hospital stated that her father passed away due to a heart disease.

"So he was sleeping when he was called by God, his condition was fine and there was no message or anything because he was sleeping, he went peacefully, and finally he was taken to the hospital after being thoroughly checked and it was confirmed that dad had passed away and the letter from the hospital was issued at 02:36 AM," Melly Mono concluded.

5. Heart Stop

Teddy Parlin Widjaja did not experience any illness before his death. However, his father had undergone treatment in the ICU in 2017. After that, Teddy Parlin Widjaja no longer complained about his illness. In fact, Teddy Parlin Widjaja's lifestyle became healthier.

"The diagnosis is that his heart has stopped. So, if I were to use an analogy, his heart is like a car battery that has run out. It's also due to age," said Melly Mono.
