The wait is over for Anisa Rahma and Anandito Dwis to have a child after waiting for 4 years. Anisa Rahma is currently pregnant with twins through the IVF program.
Having difficulty getting pregnant, the former member of Cherrybelle revealed some factors that may have caused her difficulty in conceiving.
Apparently, Anisa Rahma once fell off a motorcycle while shooting. Anisa then suspected that the incident was one of the causes of her difficulty in getting pregnant.
"I used to fall off a motorcycle, had an accident while shooting a scene of falling off a motorcycle. Turns out it really fell. Hit the tailbone," said Anisa Rahma quoted from YouTube CERITA UNTUNGS on Thursday, 2/6/2022.
"The tailbone is dangerous, it can affect the nerves, it can also affect the fallopian tubes," continued Anisa Rahma.
Anisa Rahma also suspected that there were other factors that made it difficult for her to have a child. Another factor is her history of appendicitis.
"It could also be because I had a previous appendicitis surgery and it affected my fallopian tubes, causing them to stick," she said.
Therefore, Anisa Rahma and Anandito Dwis were advised by their obstetrician to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) program.
"Finally, well, logically there is no way for the sperm to meet the egg. Finally, IVF was recommended," concluded Anisa Rahma.
Previously, Anisa Rahma and Anandito had undergone embryo transfer four times. Finally, on the fourth attempt, Anisa Rahma was able to get pregnant.
