Former Wife Reports Alleged Embezzlement of Rp 6.9 Billion, Tiko Aryawardhana BCL's Husband Faces Five Years in Prison

Kapanlagi.com - Tiko Aryawardhana, the husband of Bunga Citra Lestari, was reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police by his ex-wife with the initials AW alias Arina Winarto. The report is related to the alleged embezzlement of company funds amounting to Rp 6.9 billion.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro, confirmed the report by AW. And currently, the process has entered the investigation stage.

"Yes, it's true (there's a report). Currently, it's still in process and has entered the investigation stage," said AKBP Bintoro when contacted by the media on Tuesday (4/6/2024) through text messages.

Leo Siregar as the legal counsel of AW alias Arina Winarto stated that his client had reported Tiko Aryawardhana in 2022. The charged article is Article 374 of the Indonesian Criminal Code regarding embezzlement.

"The report was made in 2022 and was only elevated to the investigation stage in February 2024. It is Article 374 of the Indonesian Criminal Code regarding embezzlement in office, with a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment," Leo said as quoted from the release received by KapanLagi.com.

It is known that AW alias Arina Winarto established the company PT Arjuna Advaya Sanjaya, which operates in the food and beverage industry, in 2015. Arina served as a commissioner who financed everything, while Tiko became the director.

In 2019, Arina, who was passive in the business, began to suspect Tiko after finding two manipulated profit and loss documents. Due to the lack of good faith in the form of an explanation, Arina reported the bald-headed man in 2022.
