"I've been invited to do business by many people before, from everything. But I felt hesitant, from the business itself to the people involved, from the partners. But with Ms. Susan, I was initially unsure, but eventually I had meetings, meetings," said Fuji when met at Kang Seafood 457, Kemang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (6/12/2023).

The reason behind his interest in venturing into the culinary business is because he sees great potential in collaborating with Susan, the owner of Kang Seafood 357, whom he considers to be smart, meticulous, and diligent in business.

"I see that Susan is a quick and meticulous person, a smart and diligent businesswoman. I am confident that I can learn a lot from her, so I want to start this business because I believe it can run smoothly and be successful," said Fuji.

After careful meetings and assessments, Fuji finally decided to accept the collaboration offer after three months of consideration. Despite vacationing abroad, he still actively manages his new business through long-distance communication.

"How long? It seems like almost four months. Since before I traveled around. So while I was abroad, I still took care of these things, not just for fun. I still worked by phone during my vacation. I also took care of things by phone," said Fuji.

Susan Emir, the owner of Kang Seafood 357, also has her own reasons for collaborating with Fuji. She is impressed by Fuji's achievement of owning her own house at a young age.

"I happen to know Miss Fuji, and I really like this good child. So Fuji just bought a house at the age of 20. So, as everyone knows, Fuji is a good child," said Susan.

According to Susan, Fuji is a kind-hearted person, and that impression is further cemented when Susan coincidentally offers cooperation after knowing that Fuji has just bought a house.

“Basically, I only saw him on Instagram, saw him with Opa. Then coincidentally, because I have a good heart, I offered to introduce Fuji since Fuji just bought a house,” she said.

From here, the idea of collaboration between Susan and Fuji emerged, which resulted in seven new menus presented at Kang Seafood 357 restaurant. In fact, when Fuji tried one of the restaurant's menus, he gave praise that described the impression of homemade food by his own mother.

“Coincidentally, at that time I invited Fuji for a meeting at Kang Seafood. When Fuji tried the menu here, he said 'this tastes like my mom's cooking'," Susan concluded.
