Rizky Billar Finally Realizes His Childhood Dream, Owning His Own Clothing Line Business

Kapanlagi.com - Rizky Billar finally managed to realize one of his long-time dreams, which is to have his own clothing line business named MRB. Since he was a child, Rizky Billar has had a special interest in streetwear fashion.

“If asked what is the origin of Rizky Billar creating a fashion brand. The first one is because this is something that I enjoy. Especially streetwear fashion, it is one of my passions,” said Rizky Billar during the launch of MRB Clothing Line in Melawai, South Jakarta, Wednesday (6/12/2023).

“Since I was a child, I have had a dream, I am a fan of streetwear fashion like hoodies, t-shirts. One day I had a dream in my mind, 'When can I create my own clothing line?', to build a fashion clothing line where people wear it because it follows the concept and style that I have,” he continued.

1. Discussion Results with Wife

MRB itself is his initials, namely Muhammad Rizky Billar. The name was chosen through a discussion with his wife Lesti Kejora.

“Finally, last year it was realized, of course, with the support of my wife. We built a name called MRB. Actually, the name MRB itself is the result of a discussion with my wife. MRB is my initials. At first, I wanted to create a name for both of us, but Lesti said, 'If streetwear represents you, Kak Billar, then just create a name with your embellishment. If I have my own later, we'll think about separating the segments.' Who knows, there might be a version with Lesti's name,” explained Rizky Billar.

2. Wants to Become a Top Brand

MRB Clothing Line was actually established by Rizky Billar since last year. However, it could only be seriously pursued when he met two investors who were expected to bring MRB to become the number one top brand in Indonesia.

“At that time, I only had one machine because I mostly handled it myself. I had a dream, I could make this bigger, but I felt that if I worked alone, it wouldn't be optimal. I needed two machines for faster acceleration, a mutual support,” said Rizky Billar.

“Finally, Kang Boni and I agreed to build MRB together and there was also one person who was interested in joining, namely Om Reza. Hopefully, MRB's clothing line can reach greater heights and become the number one top brand in Indonesia,” he concluded.
