Kapanlagi.com - Musician Giring Ganesha has just received surprising news that he still cannot believe. He was called by the elected President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, to collaborate in running the upcoming government.

Giring admitted that he never offered himself to participate in the cabinet formed by Prabowo. He feels honored and grateful for this opportunity.

"I never expected it. Because I never expected it, never asked, never anything, being asked for help directly, I am very grateful," said Giring when contacted by the media crew on Tuesday (15/10/2024).

As a form of gratitude and respect, Giring immediately visited the graves of his father and father-in-law.

Accompanied by his wife, Cynthia Riza, he hopes to receive blessings from his loved ones before taking on a new role in the government.

"I just came from there to the cemetery to pay respects to my father and father-in-law, and we were touched," he said.

When asked about his meeting with Prabowo, Giring could not hide his happiness.

"Alhamdulillah happy, happy. We have been given direction from Mr. Prabowo, and we have a big task ahead to build this nation and country," said Giring

Besides Giring, there are several other famous names that were also called by Prabowo, such as Gus Miftah, Taufik Hidayat, and Yovie Widianto.
