Grandma Anton Passed Away from Stroke After Hearing Her Grandchild Leaving Sheila On 7

Kapanlagi.com - Anton Widiastanto recently revealed the story of being kicked out of Sheila On 7 unilaterally. Like being struck by lightning, the news left a deep wound on the drummer.

After that, Anton was traumatized and didn't want to play music anymore. He even locked himself in his house for 6 months after the shocking news. The 41-year-old man also often felt nauseous when he saw his drum set again.

"So, I stack my drums in this room, the warehouse. For example, when I go to the warehouse to get scissors or something, I see the drums, it feels like something is rising (in my stomach), like I want to vomit," Anton said as quoted from the Medcom ID YouTube channel.

After leaving Sheila On 7, one thing that worried Anton the most was his grandmother. His grandmother is now old and she is very proud because Anton became a famous musician and appeared on television.

"This makes me really sad. My grandmother, she's really proud that her grandchild is in Sheila, on TV. In her room, her house, everything is Sheila. And when I left Sheila, my burden was how to make Mbah Putri (his grandmother) not know (that I left Sheila). But in the end, I don't know if it was from the neighbors or how, she found out," Anton reminisced.

2. Anton's Grandmother Passes Away

After hearing the news that Anton left Sheila On 7, his grandmother was extremely shocked. Her condition immediately deteriorated and gradually declined until she passed away.

"She had a stroke. She passed away. I didn't say it was because of this (Sheila On 7), but it did have some impact. Because she was really proud of me being there," Anton concluded.
