Kapanlagi.com - Alice Norin shares her current condition after recovering from sarcoma cancer in the uterus. Her condition is now stable and only requires routine check-ups every three months at a hospital in Singapore. The examination is done to ensure that she has fully recovered.
"Alhamdulillah, now, yesterday, everything is balanced, the dramas from before. Then I had surgery, now I have to go for check-ups every three months. So, Alhamdulillah, it's already safe, I'll go there again in June," said Alice Norin in the BSD Tangerang area, recently.
Alice Norin is grateful because her condition has improved. The 36-year-old woman feels grateful for the opportunity to live given by God.
"Oh, I feel like I'm being saved, you know, I've had a lot of track records (illness) but I always get saved. I've had two major (illnesses) and I feel like God has given me this opportunity," said Alice.
To express her gratitude, Alice Norin is now trying to improve her attitude. She is also grateful for the small things in her current life.
"I'm being very careful because we only live once, so we have to be careful with our attitude and habits, right? It's normal for humans, right?" Alice said.
"Or even the small things that maybe just pass by, but we should be grateful even for something as simple as taking a shower. Especially in Jakarta, everything is fast, so we should enjoy the present," Alice added.
Alice shared her experience when she was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer that attacked her uterus.
At first, she thought the symptoms were caused by sitting for long hours during live broadcasts. However, as the symptoms worsened, she decided to see a doctor.
"Sarcoma can occur anywhere, in muscles, blood, and others. In my case, it was in the uterus. I used to do live broadcasts for hours, so I thought it might be a hernia, but it was a bit different. So, I decided to get checked," she said.
Previously, Alice announced that she has been diagnosed with sarcoma cancer, a rare type of cancer that develops in the uterine muscles.
The initial symptoms appeared in August 2023, where she often felt pain in the lower abdomen. After consulting with several doctors, she chose to undergo a hysterectomy despite the risk of experiencing early menopause.
