Happy Asmara & Gilga Sahid are now a couple that is being highlighted by netizens. Both working as dangdut singers, they are reportedly in a romantic relationship and ready to take it to a more serious stage. In a post on social media, it was revealed how the first meeting moment of Happy & Gilga happened.
The first meeting happened when Happy & Gilga collaborated on a duet song project. The song is titled Ginio. The song production is under Happy Asmara's label.
As known, the duet video was uploaded on YouTube in June 2023. As of the publication of this article, the video has received 24 million views.
Apparently, the meeting didn't leave a lasting impression on both parties. After the meeting, Gilga mentioned that they haven't met Happy Asmara for quite some time.
In the end, they met again at a concert held in Mojokerto, East Java. "Meeting in Mojokerto, Happy Asmara actually hates me," said Gilga, as quoted from the @gilgahappy account.
This happened because Happy's desire to create content together with Gilga was delayed for quite some time due to Gilga's busy schedule. Happy was so annoyed that she didn't even reply to Gilga's messages for four days.
"I had sent a message that was not replied for four days. After that, I didn't dare to approach," Gilga continued.
As time went by, Happy and Gilga became closer, often performing together, and even being matched by netizens. They were called a couple, but Gilga said this...
"Like Happy Asmara said, we never had a dating anniversary, but we have a wedding anniversary," said Gilga, greeted by the cheers of the audience at the event.
Finally, Gilga mentioned that his love story with Happy Asmara was not just a setup. "If someone says it's a setup, it's really going too far. If it's a setup, we wouldn't get married," Gilga concluded.
