Great Success This Year, Bubah Alfian Introduces Jember Fashion Carnaval to New York

Kapanlagi.com - The Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC) event always brings excitement to each of its performances. This year, JFC was successfully held on August 4-6, 2023, and featured a lineup of big celebrities such as Prilly Latuconsina, Yuki Kato, Sara Tumiwa, and Erika Carlina.

The presence of these big celebrities is highly appreciated by Bubah Alfin, a well-known MUA and also the driving force behind JFC. The artists who attended came sincerely without being paid.

"Dozens of celebrities attended the Jember Carnaval Fashion without being paid at all. There were indeed many who wanted to participate, but due to limitations, I only covered the expenses for a few and some were also supported by companies," said Bubah Alfian to the media.

"Speaking of previous years, not many celebrities were involved, there were only a few like Cinta Laura and Anang Hermansyah's family, who are originally from there," continued Bubah Alfian.

Bubah said that the attending artists were very impressed with the JFC 2023 event. Prilly, who participated in JFC, admitted to being impressed with the clothes she was wearing. Especially the clothes made from recycled waste.

"Very amazed, especially the clothes that Prilly wore were made from waste. When they were in Jember, they (Prilly, Yuki) were also amazing because the event was super huge," he said.

3. Go International

The success of JFC 2023 was brought by Bubah to the United States. Some time ago, Bubah attended the Indonesian Fashion Festival in New York at the invitation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI). According to Bubah, this is a dream come true for him and his JFC friends to introduce the fashion industry of the homeland abroad.

"But I intentionally left earlier to introduce Jember through Indopop, with Fitri Carlina hosting the event. Well, all of this is thanks to the success of the Jakarta Fashion Festival held on July 27 in Jakarta and finally achieving success at the Jember Fashion Carnival," he concluded.
