Habib Jafar Reveals Evidence That Vidi Aldiano Was a Good Person on the 40th Day Commemoration

In his sermon, Habib Jafar highlighted the noble character possessed by the husband of actress Sheila Dara Aisha. According to his religious perspective, there are clear signs that Vidi passed away in a good state. This is evident from the many people who provided positive testimonials about the late individual.

Habib Jafar quoted the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW regarding the community's testimony about someone who has passed away. He believes that the praises and prayers continuously flowing for Vidi are a symbol of the late individual's personal qualities during his life in the entertainment world and in the eyes of those closest to him.

"The signs of a good person, among others, that are evident in the late Vidi are, first, receiving good testimony from those around him who loved him. This is what the Prophet Muhammad said, that the testimony to the deceased about their goodness or badness is real. Therefore, those who came and provided this good testimony certainly symbolize how good the late Vidi was," he said.

The presence of dozens of mourners who overflowed until the 40th day is another strong evidence of the public's love for the musician born on March 29, 1990. Habib Jafar sees that the spirit and works of Vidi will continue to keep his name alive in the hearts of his fans even though his physical presence is no longer.

"Moreover, even until the 40th day, there is still enthusiasm, and perhaps it will continue to be enthusiastic. And secondly, in my opinion, the family's decision to ensure that Vidi remains alive is appropriate. Because that is also a characteristic of good people, that when they pass away, they continue to live in spirit, in works, and in goodness," he added.

As reported, Vidi Aldiano passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, due to metastatic kidney cancer that he had been suffering from since December 2019. Throughout his six years of struggle, Vidi was known as a very positive figure who never showed a sense of giving up in front of the public.

Habib Jafar concluded his statement by emphasizing that Vidi's departure has had an extraordinary impact on many people. He is grateful to have known Vidi, who not only achieved success in his music career but also succeeded in leaving a legacy of kindness that will always be remembered by family and fans across Indonesia.
