Hamish Daud Receives Full Support from Raisa Regarding Allegations of Defamation Against Start Up Waste Bank

Kapanlagi.com - Hamish Daud, along with his lawyer, Hadi Sukrisno, visited the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (19/12/2024) to consult regarding allegations of defamation. This case originated from issues claiming that Hamish was responsible for financial problems and employee salaries at the waste bank startup he initiated.

"The issues that have often come up in the media, to our client, regarding financial accountability to employees, including employee salary issues. And there has already been an official statement from the CEO that this is not our client's responsibility. It is the responsibility of the CEO, that has been checked, and it is also on social media," said Hadi Sukrisno.

1. Hamish Is Not Responsible for Employee Salaries

Hadi emphasized that the accusation is not true. He explained that the CEO of the related startup has issued an official statement stating that the responsibility lies with him, not with Hamish Daud.

"So if there are parties claiming that Hamish should be responsible for the employees' salaries, that is completely wrong. This has already been conveyed by the CEO, it is not Mas Hamish's responsibility. This needs to be clarified," added Hadi.

Hamish himself explained that his involvement in the startup was solely to support environmental care programs. He admitted that he is not involved in the company's financial operations.

"It has to do with the environment, my goal is just to clean up the environment in Indonesia, but it turns out there are incidents behind the scenes," revealed Hamish.

Hamish also emphasized that he is not the CEO of the company. He stated this to clarify information that has been circulating in the community.

"No, I am not the CEO," Hamish asserted briefly.

2. Want to Resolve Issues Quickly

Hamish admitted that he wants to resolve this case before the end of the year so that he can start the new year more positively. He hopes that all parties can understand the real issues at hand.

"I want to finish this year and start next year with something positive," he said.

When asked about the support from his family, Hamish revealed that he receives full support, especially from his wife Raisa. However, he does not deny that this situation is quite heavy for him.

"I definitely get 100 percent support from them, but it’s not an easy time. I want to finish this year and start next year," explained Hamish.
