The 40-day memorial for the late singer Oxavia Aldiano, also known as Vidi Aldiano, was held with great solemnity. During the prayer gathering, the family served special dishes that were the late singer's favorites during his lifetime. Harry Kiss, Vidi's father, specifically prepared a portion of krecek that was unusual in size.

This culinary offering was exclusively prepared by renowned designer Anne Avantie, who is also a family friend. Harry Kiss explained that his late son always had a special request when it came to the krecek dish. The late singer always wanted a much larger portion of krecek compared to the side dishes.

"Vidi always had double the size of krecek, you know. So if the porridge is one portion, that means the krecek is two. Now, here is Bunda Anne Avantie; since she is the Queen of Kebaya, she prepared krecek that is double the portion," said Harry Kiss when met at Masjid Nurul Hidayah, Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Saturday (18/4/2026).

Harry Kiss feels greatly assisted by the presence of Anne Avantie, who is willing to take the time to cook the menu directly. Harry even gave sky-high praise for the taste of the dishes served at the religious gathering.

The designer from Semarang turns out to have a strong emotional bond with Sheila Dara Aisha's husband. Harry mentioned that Bunda Anne has a poetic name for her action this time, which is a promise of the heart. In the future, there are even plans to immortalize Vidi's favorite menu in a special cooking spice.

"That krecek is the best on the planet. In the future, Bunda said she wants to make a special spice in Semarang, called Gudeg with Krecek Vidi. Bunda just said this is the fulfillment of her promise of the heart," continued Harry Kiss.

To provide the best, Anne Avantie brought a kitchen team of 30 people directly from Semarang. They processed fresh ingredients in a shop near the event location to maintain the quality of the food. Harry Kiss looked very satisfied with the dishes served to the invited guests.

For your information, Vidi Aldiano passed away at the age of 35 on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The talented singer breathed his last due to advanced stage kidney cancer that he had been suffering from since 2019. For years, he fought against cancer cells that had metastasized.

The history of intensive treatment that Vidi underwent left a deep impression on the family. Although the grief is still felt, Harry Kiss tries to remain strong while recounting his son's passion. He hopes that the mourners can also feel happiness through the food that the deceased loved.
