Recently found in the Cibubur area, Legal Practitioner, Zakir Rasyidin, spoke about this issue. According to him, Sandra Dewi's fate depends on the process of proving.

"So, it is potentially implicated or not, it all depends on the process of proving," said Zakir Rasyidin.

"In criminal law, there are roles played by other perpetrators who are not the main perpetrators, namely, for example, participating and assisting in carrying out the act, in law it is called complicity," he continued.

2. Everyone Has the Potential to Become a Suspect

Zakir Rasyidin also explained that the Indonesian Attorney General's Office must have two or more pieces of evidence if they want to prove whether Sandra Dewi is involved or not.

"So, anyone involved in this case has the potential to become a suspect, including his own wife. But it all depends on the legal process of proving, the investigator must find 2 pieces of evidence to determine whether the status will be elevated to a suspect," he said.

However, Zakir Rasyidin emphasized once again that if it cannot be proven with two or more pieces of evidence, Sandra Dewi cannot be charged as a suspect. The proving process will be the key.

"But as long as there is not enough evidence to implicate the wife as a suspect, the investigator cannot do that and it goes back to the process of proving," he concluded.
