Kapanlagi.com - Recently, a Twitter account allegedly belonging to one of the members of the band Superman Is Dead, namely Jerinx, was reported to the police. The report was made by the Justice and Unity Party of Indonesia (PKPI) on charges of defamation or slander.

Despite filing the report and currently undergoing witness examination, Sunan Kalijaga, as the legal representative of the complainant, admitted that they have not yet established communication with Jerinx. This is not without reason, as Sunan stated that he and his client do not want to make accusations because the owner of the account is still unknown.

1. Do Not Want to Accuse

"No, if we communicate with Jerinx, it means we accuse Jerinx, we don't want to accuse," said Sunan Kalijaga, when contacted by Kapanlagi.com, on Monday (8/6).

"So let the police do the work, then the result will definitely be accurate. I don't ask for clarification from Jerinx, because if we do that, it means we accuse. So there's no need to contact the owner of the related name, later they will feel offended," continued Sunan.

2. Follow the Process

In addition, according to Sunan Kalijaga as someone who works in the field of law, he must be obedient and follow the existing process. Regardless of whether or not the account belongs to Jerinx, Sunan fully represents his client in handing over the case to be thoroughly investigated by the police.

"As legal people, we cannot do that. So now just follow the process, then it will be seen who is holding the phone (for example, Jerinx), or who is the real owner of the account. Even if it turns out to be Jerinx, it will continue according to the legal process," said Sunan Kalijaga.
