Rehabilitation Efforts Granted, Dwi Sasono Will Be Transferred to This Place

Kapanlagi.com - The family's efforts to apply for rehabilitation for Dwi Sasono have paid off. The police plan to transfer Widi Mulia's husband to the Drug Dependency Hospital (RSKO) on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

"The plan is to transfer him to RSKO tomorrow," said Vivick Tjangkung, the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit Chief, via WhatsApp message on Monday (8/6/2020).

Regarding the plan to transfer Dwi Sasono to RSKO, Vivick is not willing to say much. He promised to explain in detail to journalists later this afternoon.

1. Apply for Rehabilitation

Previously, Dwi Sasono's family, through their legal representative, submitted a request for rehabilitation to the narcotics unit of South Jakarta Metro Police. After being approved, Dwi Sasono underwent an assessment at the National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) to determine the level of his drug dependency.

Dwi Sasono himself was apprehended by the police on May 26, 2020, around 8:00 PM at his residence located in the Pondok Labu area, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

2. Charged with Narcotics Article

Dwi Sasono was arrested with evidence of 16 grams of marijuana.

For his actions, Dwi Sasono is charged with Article 114, subsidiary to Article 111 paragraph 1 of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a minimum punishment of five years in prison.
