Having Met the Late Mother of Ririn Ekawati, Ibnu Jamil Reveals Touching Message

Kapanlagi.com - A new sad news has just come from the extended family of Ririn Ekawati. The mother named Samsidar Zaid Moga was reported to have passed away today, Wednesday (2/12) at the age of 62 due to cholesterol, diabetes, and Covid-19.

Met at her residence in Bendungan Hilir, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (2/12), Ririn Ekawati was seen accompanied by her boyfriend, Ibnu Jamil. Ibnu admitted to the media that he had met Ririn's late mother a few weeks before her passing, precisely on November 13.

"Ibnu did meet her, we went to Palu to visit mom, Ibnu had permission to be close to me," said Ririn's sister Rini Yulianti.

Upon hearing Ririn Ekawati's response, Ibnu Jamil conveyed, "I did say that I had to meet your mother when I was going to propose to you, so because of my seriousness, I went to see her. It happened that Ririn's mother was in Palu and I had a 3-day break there as well."

"I came with good intentions and I took the courage to come and talk to Ririn's mother and also the extended family in Palu that I have a serious relationship with Ririn," he added.

Furthermore, Ibnu also revealed the touching message that was conveyed by his late mother. "Alhamdulillah, my mother was a good person, she was really good at cooking, her cooking was unmatched. Then finally, my mother said, 'Take care of my child, make this the last one for both of you,' that's it," he said.

Although grieving and feeling the loss of his future mother-in-law, Ibnu is grateful to have met her and asked for her blessing, "Anyway, I have met Mama and I have met her and have given permission, that's it."

3. Not in a Hurry

Despite receiving such advice, the late mother never asked Ibnu to quickly propose to her daughter. The same goes for Ririn, who chose to take their relationship seriously but not rush into it.
