Health Condition of Zaskia Sungkar and Irwansyah's Child Born at 36 Weeks

The child Zaskia Sungkar and Irwansyah, Urwah Muhammad Syahki was born slightly earlier than the estimated schedule. Although born at 36 weeks and 4 days of pregnancy, the medical team ensured that the health condition of the baby boy was in very good and stable condition.

Organ maturity was the main concern for the medical team when deciding on the delivery procedure. Dr. Merry Amelia mentioned that the decision for surgery was made because Zaskia was already experiencing dilation.

"In the third trimester, the Estimated Due Date (HPL) is actually in early March 2026. We see that the baby's maturity parameters are quite good, so we decided to proceed with the delivery action on Saturday," explained Dr. Merry Amelia at RS Bunda Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday (23/2/2026).

Pediatrician, Dr. Tiwi, also provided intensive support immediately after Urwah was born. One of the challenges for a baby born at 36 weeks is respiratory adaptation, but Urwah managed it very well.

"Because he was born at 36 weeks, the challenge is lung adaptation. But Mashallah, Urwah is very smart. As soon as he was born, he cried loudly," said Dr. Tiwi, SpA.

Zaskia Sungkar feels very relieved to see her son being able to breastfeed strongly right away. For her, the support from the doctors is crucial in providing peace of mind as a mother who has just undergone surgery.

"Yes, Dr. Tiwi is very talkative about breast milk, hehe. But that makes me feel calm. Now I want to focus on raising these three children first," said Zaskia Sungkar.
