Uya Kuya believes that if the country decides to implement a lockdown policy, the government must consider the future effects. This husband of Astrid Kuya also adds that implementing a lockdown policy does not mean completely closing off a country, learning from the experiences of countries that have already been affected by the corona virus.

"We have to trust the government, trust what the government says. We have to trust what they do. There's no need to push for a lockdown and such. The government must have their own reasons for what they do. We have to think, if in lockdown, do you know the future effects? There are economic laws and relationships with others. Basically, according to me, lockdown doesn't mean locking down a country, you know. Because lockdown has levels. Even Singapore didn't immediately close its country, right? Like Korea, they have many cases but they didn't lockdown the whole country. Basically, maybe it's about the lowest level of domestic lockdown. The borders between cities and domestic islands should be stopped first," said Uya when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (16/3).

1. Schools Closed

Uya Kuya and Astrid fully support the policy implemented by the government starting from March 16, 2020. They agree that closing all schools is the right step.

"It's good to close schools," said Astrid, to which Uya added, "it's okay to close schools for 2 weeks."

2. Contribution to the Society

Uya Kuya is not just sitting idly by in the face of the current phenomenon occurring in various regions throughout Indonesia. He admits to selling masks, which have now become scarce, at an affordable price without announcing it to the public.

"I don't need to talk about it. Since last week, I've been selling masks for 2 thousand per piece, but a person can only buy two," said Uya Kuya.
