Her Marriage Cannot Be Sustained Anymore Due to Domestic Violence, Cut Intan is Ready to File for Divorce from Armor Toreador

Kapanlagi.com - Cut Intan Nabila, who is experiencing a case of domestic violence (KDRT), is preparing to file for divorce from her husband, Armor Toreador. According to her lawyer, Ana Sofa Yuking, the divorce process will soon be submitted to the court.

"Intan Nabila, tomorrow Friday we have another meeting with Intan to finalize the lawsuit and to confirm a few things. The documentation is complete, God willing, we will come back on Monday," said Ana Sofa Yuking at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Thursday (7/11/2024).

Ana explained that Cut Intan's decision to separate from Armor Toreador was primarily due to the domestic violence she experienced.

"That will be discussed in court, but the main point is that Intan thinks this cannot be sustained anymore, there are sufficient reasons to file for divorce," she said.

1. Losing Happiness at a Young Age

At a young age, Cut Intan Nabila was deeply affected by her marital situation. As a 24-year-old woman, she married at a relatively young age and already has three children.

"Intan is sad, you know. Look, Intan is only 24 years old, still very young. She got married at 19, didn't even have time for me time, had another child, had another child, up to three times, then she experienced that problem, violence. It is certainly not easy for someone like Intan who is still very young," she continued.

Even though the decision to divorce has been made, the process is not easy for Intan. Long considerations had to be made, given that she and Armor had once married amicably and have children that need to be protected.

"But we really appreciate that for her to make that decision requires quite a long consideration. We really appreciate it, because it is not as easy as turning your hand over, you know. There are children involved, and they also married amicably," said Ana.

2. Trauma But Still Mentally Prepared

The trauma from the violence experienced by Intan is also very evident. In the previous trial, she was unable to hold back her tears several times when recalling the painful events.

"Yes, definitely trauma, like you saw yesterday during the second trial, every time she was asked, she would definitely cry. Especially hearing the trial, it brings back those events, it triggers her again, she cries again for sure, and that's normal, that's human," she said.

Despite facing two cases at once, Ana believes that Cut Intan has the mental resilience to get through this legal process.

"God willing, she is ready, that child is strong, Intan is strong, God willing, she is ready," she concluded.
