At the celebration of the twins Rappa and Raffi's first birthday, Ajie Darmaji is determined to fulfill one of the last wishes of his late wife, Mpok Alpa. A simple request that the deceased had expressed before passing away.
Ajie recounts that Mpok Alpa once expressed her desire to celebrate the twins' first birthday by the seaside. This request was quite surprising, considering that his wife actually preferred the mountain atmosphere.

"'Dad, God willing, if RapPa-Raffi has a birthday twin, let's go to the sea, okay!' something like that. 'It's been a while since we went to the sea,'" recalled Ajie, mimicking the words of his late wife, when met in South Jakarta, Tuesday (07/10/2025).
The reason behind that request is very philosophical. "So we can see the vastness of the sea," said Ajie, quoting Mpok Alpa.
At that time, Ajie could only promise to fulfill it after his wife recovered from her illness. However, fate had other plans. Now, he wants to fulfill that promise as a 'trust'.
"Right now, I do want to do that, to fulfill the trust, I want to go to the sea. I want to try to bring something like that to the sea," he said.
In addition to going to the sea, there is one more big dream of the late one that has not been realized, which is to take the whole family to perform Umrah.
"Inviting my sister, Al-Fatih, I want to do Umrah like that. Hopefully, if there is a blessing, the children can also go during their school holidays or something, God willing, hopefully, they will be granted health, long life, God willing, we will depart," she hoped.
