Iis Dahlia Shares Her Longing to be Embraced by Devano, Willing to Compromise and Visit Her Child's Home

1. Admits Wanting to be Hugged

"No way, we communicate often. But you know, Mom wants to be hugged," said Iis Dahlia in a playful tone when met in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, on Monday (05/01/2026).

Iis's longing made her willing to compromise. Instead of demanding Devano to visit more often, it was Iis who took the initiative to visit her son's house.

2. Compromising by Visiting the Child's House

"Now we compromise by going to his house. Just last night I came from his place," she shared.

Iis also recounted a funny moment when Devano stopped by her house but failed to meet her due to their different biological clocks. Devano, who is used to waking up early, often comes by when Iis is still sound asleep.

3. Protective of Devano

"He knows his mom hasn't woken up yet, so it's fine. I told him, 'You already know your mom wakes up late, you should go in the afternoon, don't go in the morning.' But if he really is a morning person, just like his dad," said Iis while chuckling.

As a mother, Iis remains protective of Devano. She always reminds him that no matter what, Devano will always be a "baby" in her eyes.

"Still. I always tell him, 'No matter how old you get, you will always be my child.' So for Mama, he still is [like] a baby," she concluded lovingly.
