Mansyur S Tells the Moments Before His Wife Passed Away, Gave Her a Kiss on the Forehead

The atmosphere was filled with emotion at the home of legendary dangdut singer Mansyur S. With teary eyes, he recounted the chronology of the last moments before his beloved wife, Hj. Rosidah binti Ismail, took her last breath on Monday (5/1/2026). It turns out there was a sweet routine that became their farewell gesture.

That morning, Mansyur S continued his usual exercise routine. Before and after exercising, he always took the time to show his affection to his wife who was resting. Mansyur did not expect that the kiss on the forehead that morning would be the last one.

The incident happened so quickly while Mansyur was exercising. He noticed something was wrong when his wife tried to eat but seemed to be struggling. A husband's instinct made him immediately approach the deceased to offer help.

"Just after I kissed her forehead twice, I walked away. After 30-35 minutes of exercising, my niece fed my wife. It turned out that the last bit almost couldn't go in. It couldn't go in, so I immediately got water and gave it to her," recalled Mansyur S while sobbing at the funeral home on Monday (5/1/2026).

In her increasingly weakened condition, Mansyur S remained by his wife's side. He held his wife's head and kissed her forehead again as a sign of farewell before Hj. Rosidah finally left for good.

"Oh God. He couldn't come in, he walked straight and I gave him water, then I held his head. It turned out that when I was at his head, I also had the chance to (kiss) his forehead. That was my last cry earlier, feeling because I loved him very much, he was very kind. But whatever it is, perhaps God loves him more," he expressed with deep sadness.

The sincerity of Mansyur S's love is clearly visible when he recounts how he idolized his wife.

For him, his wife is a very good person who has given everything for the family during their decades of life together.

"She is a good person, a caring person, a person who gives a lot to charity. That is what I say, that I got everything from a wife who is now leaving me forever," said Mansyur S again.
