In the Proof Hearing, Aliff Alli Reveals a Photo with Another Man, Nuning Irpana Reveals Anomalies

Kapanlagi.com - The annulment hearing filed by Aliff Alli against the respondent named Nuning Irpana was held again at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. In the hearing with Aliff as the petitioner, Nuning's lawyer felt there were suspicious elements.

This statement is not without reason. Because in the presentation of evidence, Aliff Alli and his lawyer should have been well-prepared. Instead, they requested more time to provide additional evidence which was later rejected by the panel of judges.

"Earlier, the petitioner only presented written evidence, photos, and did not take the opportunity to present witnesses, which is within their authority. After the petitioner presented the evidence, they requested another week to submit additional evidence," said Manto, Nuning's lawyer, after the hearing on Tuesday (10/8/2021).

"Seeing that they lack evidence of all kinds, when submitting a marriage annulment petition, it should have been prepared according to what was alleged. When the hearing is already underway, they submit a request for additional evidence, which gives the impression of playing around. It's like trial and error. That's how I see it," Manto added.

1. Forced Evidence

In the proof hearing, Aliff Alli's legal counsel revealed testimony from an institution that provided unrecorded marriage evidence. Then there was a photo of Nuning with a man who was considered unacceptable if Aliff was her husband.

"Regarding the photos of Nuning's closeness with another person, it means that if there is a marriage (with Aliff), it certainly doesn't exist. We will see the trial process. It depends on the outcome," said Rayendra Ashwandana, Aliff's legal counsel, interviewed in the same location during a different interview session.

Responding to the photo, Nuning's side is clearly confused as they feel the evidence is being forced. According to them, taking a photo with a man does not necessarily mean having a relationship.

"There is photo evidence. A photo that assumes that Mbak Nuning already has another man, without showing whether that man is her partner or not. Does being in a photo together indicate a relationship? No," said Manto.

"The photo was taken before knowing Mr. Aliff. We were just sitting in the room. There are also photos where we are not together," added Nuning.

2. Unrecognized Wife

As previously reported, Nuning Irpana claimed to be the first wife of Aliff Alli, whom she married in 2011. However, after the marriage ceremony, she was immediately abandoned by the man.

Years passed, they were reunited when Nuning became a witness in the marriage confirmation hearing and divorce request filed by Aliff against Aska Ongi. It was during Nuning's testimony that Aliff requested a marriage annulment hearing.

Nuning herself did not want her marriage with Aliff, which was recorded at the Cilandak Civil Registration Office in South Jakarta, to be annulled. The woman preferred to be divorced, even though her husband did not acknowledge that their marriage had ever taken place.
