Inara Rusli Acknowledges the Existence of the Video, But Denies Any Adultery

The party of Inara Rusli has finally spoken out regarding the video that is evidence in the alleged adultery report by Wardatina Mawa. Inara, through her attorney, acknowledged that the person in the video is indeed her.

However, she strongly denies the allegations of having a relationship akin to that of husband and wife or penetration occurring in the video. Daru Quthny, as her attorney, emphasized that the content of the video currently circulating in the community is not true.

According to her, there are no immoral actions that fulfill the legal elements of adultery in the recording. Inara's side objects to the interaction in the video being immediately labeled as an act of adultery legally.

"Yes, so here's the thing, the video is acknowledged by Inara on one side. But its content is not acknowledged. You see. The content in terms of whether they committed adultery, whether they have engaged in penetration, like that. That did not happen. Like that," stated Daru Quthny at the Metro Jaya Police, Tuesday (17/3/2026).

Furthermore, Daru explained that although there was physical interaction, it cannot be directly categorized as an adultery offense. His side firmly believes that his client did not do what the reporting party has accused all this time.

"Yes, he acknowledges the video, but the content inside that is currently developing in society claims they committed adultery, engaged in penetration, had relations like husband and wife, he did not do that. Like that," he emphasized.

In line with Daru, Herlina, who is also part of Inara's legal team, provided details regarding the condition of the video. Based on her observations, the video used as evidence has a very short duration and contains many cuts or edits, thus the authenticity of the circulating narrative should be questioned from a legal standpoint.

"But in my opinion, it is clearly edited, cut like that. And the duration is not like what is currently circulating, which is 2 hours, no. It is only about 2 minutes or 3 minutes," she said.

"And the time is really short. There are indeed segments, there are 7 segments, and the total time is only about 1 or 2 minutes, it's not too long," Herlina explained.

This case originated from a report by Wardatina Mawa to the Metro Jaya Police in November 2025, accusing Inara of having a special relationship with her husband, Insanul Fahmi, outside of work matters. She then gathered several pieces of evidence, including CCTV video recordings showing allegations of adultery.
