Inara Rusli and Insanul Fahmi Make Peace, Police Prepare SP3 to Stop the Case

"This means confirmation, the withdrawal of the report has indeed occurred. Earlier we contacted the investigator, informing that this case has been assessed towards a case title for termination," he said to the media crew on Monday, (26/1/2026).

Previously, Inara Rusli was known to have submitted a withdrawal of the report on December 29 last year. This step was then followed up by the investigator by summoning Insanul Fahmi for questioning and clarification.

"So next on January 21, Brother IF has complied with the summons, confirming that there is a withdrawal of the report from Brother IR. The reported party has also been examined," revealed Kompol Andaru.

Now, the hot potato of this case is in the hands of the investigator to be resolved administratively as soon as possible. The police are preparing a case title as an official mechanism to terminate the investigation of this case for legal purposes.

"We will contact the investigator later; a hearing will soon be held to terminate the case because the complainant has withdrawn the case," he added, explaining the next steps.

The termination of this case is based on the principle of Restorative Justice, where both parties have agreed to reconcile and not continue the legal process. The police respect the complainant's decision to withdraw their report.

"Officially, it will be after the hearing and the issuance of a letter of termination... a letter of termination of investigation or case investigation will be issued later," Andaru explained regarding the legality of the case termination.

With the issuance of the SP3 later, the case of the alleged criminal act reported by Inara Rusli will be declared null. The public also hopes that this reconciliation will be a good end for the relationship between the two public figures."We are waiting for the schedule.
