Inara Rusli Claims Mawa Was 'Fine-Fine Aja' When Asked for Polygamy Permission

Kapanlagi.com - The household turmoil of Insanul Fahmi is heating up with reports of alleged adultery from his first wife, Wardatina Mawa. Mawa feels betrayed after discovering that her husband secretly married Inara Rusli. However, Inara's lawyer, Deddy DJ, provided a different statement.

According to information received by Deddy from Insanul, it was mentioned that his client (Inara) had actually requested permission to practice polygamy from Mawa since 2023. At that time, Mawa's response was claimed to be just fine and did not show any strong rejection.

"Yes, according to Insanul's statement, it was said that Ms. Mawa was like fine-fine aja, there was no strong rejection or anything like that," said Deddy DJ in the BSD area, Tanggerang, Wednesday (31/12/2025).

1. Mawa Suspected to Consider Her Husband's Polygamy Request as a Joke

Deddy suspected that at that time Mawa thought her husband's request was just a joke. However, the rice has turned into porridge, the unofficial marriage between Insanul and Inara has taken place. Now, the hot ball is in Mawa's court, whether she is willing to accept polygamy or choose to part ways.

"Well, now it just depends on Ms. Mawa, whether Ms. Mawa is ready to be in a polygamous situation. If she is indeed ready, then bismillah, right? But if she is not, then that's fine too, bismillah as well," he said.

2. Inara's Legal Counsel Highlights the Legal Aspects of Polygamy

Deddy also highlighted the legal aspects of polygamy in Indonesia. Although it is permitted in Islam under the condition of fairness, positive law requires permission from the first wife. This is the legal loophole that Mawa is currently questioning.

"But in its second verse, it is stated that it is permissible for a Muslim man to marry more than one, but there are conditions, it’s still a comma, not a period, you know," Deddy explained.

3. The Importance of Justice in Polygamy

Deddy also emphasized the importance of justice in polygamy. According to him, the definition of fairness goes back to each husband’s character, whether he is able to place things in their proper context or not.

Deddy respects Mawa's decision to report her husband to the police. He believes it is Mawa's right to seek justice if she feels wronged.

"I said from the beginning that Ms. Mawa is here seeking justice, seeking certainty. That is her right," he added.

However, he hopes that all parties can exercise restraint and not attack each other on social media before there is a final legal decision.
