Wardatina Mawa Addresses Rumors of Selling Video of Insanul and Inara Rusli

The alleged adultery case involving Insanul Fahmi and Inara Rusli has now entered a new chapter regarding CCTV recording evidence. Wardatina Mawa, the legitimate wife of Insanul Fahmi, is facing rumors claiming that she intends to sell the video recordings to the media.

Wardatina Mawa's legal team has promptly taken firm steps to clarify the news that is perceived to be cornering their client. In a meeting with the media, they emphasized that their client's main focus is to prove the alleged criminal act of adultery, rather than disputing the technicalities of obtaining the existing visual evidence.

Darma Praja, one of the members of Mawa's legal team, provided an interesting analogy regarding the position of the CCTV in this legal matter. According to him, the recording is a physical piece of evidence that honestly depicts the situation that actually occurred on the ground without any manipulation.

"If I may analogize, the recording is like a mirror. A mirror only reflects the reality. If the reality is incorrect, do not blame the mirror. The same goes for the CCTV recording. If there are actions recorded in the CCTV, do not blame who provided it," said Darma Praja in the Grogol area, West Jakarta, Friday (26/12/2025).

Darma added that the opposing party should not divert public attention by questioning the method of obtaining the recording. He urged all parties, including the police, to focus on the substance of the adultery case that is currently being handled by the authorities at the Metro Jaya Police.

"We must not let this main issue be lost in the discussion, instead, we end up discussing matters outside of it. Because we are only focused on the first: Did the incident occur? Second: Who committed it? Third: What is the accountability for that action?" explained Darma.

Fedhli, who is also part of the Mawa legal team, expressed his astonishment at the emergence of the narrative of video trading alleged by Insanul Fahmi. He emphasized that the original recording has been fully handed over to the investigators as evidence and has never been distributed.

"But if I am confused, how is it sold, because up to this moment, not a single person has it, not a single person owns it, has anyone ever seen it? Never, right? Because indeed Mawa, Mawa directly gave it to the investigators," asserted Fedhli.

Furthermore, Fedhli emphasized that Mawa is not the party that accessed the CCTV system illegally. His client is claimed to have only received information regarding her husband's alleged infidelity from a third party, and then used that information to seek justice through legal means.

"Mawa is not the spreader. She received information from someone else, yes. Well, that is the information obtained by Mawa. So she is not the one spreading it. So I emphasize that Mawa never ordered, instructed, or was involved in any access related to that CCTV," said Fedhli.

The Mawa party is now fully entrusting the legal process to the investigators of the Metro Jaya Police and hopes their report will soon yield results. They believe that the evidence submitted is strong enough to prove the existence of betrayal in their client's household.

"The report cannot erase the suspicion of the criminal act of adultery. The report cannot obscure the substance of the case, it cannot. So it still has to be investigated, accounted for whether proven or not, that’s it. And we have already provided the evidence," he concluded.
