KPK Will Examine Aura Kasih Related to Alleged Corruption Fund Flow of Ridwan Kamil

"Of course, there is a possibility for the KPK to call anyone who is suspected of knowing or is suspected of receiving flows of money related to the alleged corruption in BJB," said Budi Prasetyo at the Red and White Building of the KPK in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday (25/12/2025).

The information circulating in the community is considered important for the investigation process, and they will ensure whether the information is valid or not. "Information from the public like this certainly enriches the investigators, and this is important. We will check the validity of this information later," Budi told reporters.

According to Budi, the initial step that investigators will take is to call the parties who are said to know about it for direct confirmation. "We will check, and of course, later we can confirm with those who can explain regarding this information," he stated.

Not only that, the KPK also urges the public who feel they have valid data or other evidence related to the alleged flow of funds to immediately report it to the KPK. This statement highlights the importance of information transparency for the ongoing legal process.

"In its progress, it is not only RK, or it does not stop here, but the investigators are also delving into other parties who are suspected to be related to the flow from RK, including issues regarding asset purchases, and other alleged flows. This will continue to be investigated," Budi emphasized.

This investigation is part of the inquiry into the alleged corruption case regarding the procurement of advertisements at regional banks during the 2021–2023 period. In this case, the KPK has previously named several individuals as suspects, including internal bank officials and agency parties involved in the advertisement project. The state losses due to this alleged corruption are estimated to reach hundreds of billions of rupiah.

In the previous investigation process, the KPK has also taken several actions, including searches at the residence of former Governor Ridwan Kamil in March 2025, as well as questioning him as a witness in early December 2025.

The name Aura Kasih has been widely discussed by the public in recent days after this information surfaced, but there has been no official statement from the parties involved or further confirmation from the KPK aside from the initial investigation that was conducted.
