The 43-year-old man stated that the IDI's 'Kacung WHO' post on his personal Instagram account was a form of criticism, and he did not intend to insult IDI.
When met by the media at the Bali Regional Police on Thursday (8/6), Jerinx conveyed this. He emphasized that it was purely his personal criticism.

"I am 100 percent sure that what I did was right, I did not mean anything negative or bad, it was purely criticism, criticism as an Indonesian citizen," said Jerinx.
In response to his criticism, Jerinx finally apologized to the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI). However, he also emphasized that his apology was a form of empathy towards IDI.
"But I sincerely apologize as a form of empathy to my IDI friends because I want to emphasize once again that I have no hatred, I have no intention to destroy or hurt the feelings of my friends in IDI," he said.
Previously, IDI Bali reported Jerinx to the Bali Regional Police for allegations of defamation and hate speech through his Instagram social media account. In his upload, Jerinx referred to IDI and the hospital as puppets of the World Health Organization (WHO).
