According to Gendo, Jerinx's post was in no way intended to insult. Each word in the post represents a subjective perception between the writer and the reader, and for him, this issue can be resolved through open or closed discussions.
Meanwhile, regarding the issue of the alcohol ban post at Kuta Beach, it is related to public access. Jerinx's legal representative stated that it is permissible for his client to drink alcohol at the beach considering that many festival visitors in Kuta also consume alcoholic beverages.
"They say you can't drink alcohol at the beach, but all this time there's the Kuta Festival, various events, Kuta Carnival, people also drink alcohol at the beach, and suddenly it's as if people can't drink on their birthdays at the beach," he concluded.
