Kapanlagi.com - The legendary actor and comedian, Indro Warkop, has been appointed as the main judge in the talent search event for comedians titled Searching for a New Comic 8: Revolution. This program is an initiative by Falcon Pictures to scout comedians who will be involved in future comedy film projects.
Indro does not work alone in selecting talents. He is accompanied by comedians Cak Lontong and Oki Rengga. As a judge, Indro revealed that the selection process does not only focus on performances on stage.
"We even choose the best because this is not just limited to the quarantine and there are better events, for example. Yes, there are many things, and that is actually outside our assessment," said Indro in the Cibubur area recently.

Indro added that the final decision in this event remains in the hands of the public. This shows the importance of audience support in determining their favorite comedian.
"But the one who determines the voting is actually," he revealed.
Indro also outlined the ideal criteria for a comedian to pass the selection. According to him, prospective comedians must have strong acting skills and a strong character.
"First, clearly because this is comic 8. He is a good comic. Second, a complete comic who can act well because it will later be made into a film," he explained.
In addition to technical skills, Indro emphasizes the importance of unique characteristics that can support the story on the big screen.
"And he has a specific character because later that character may be needed in the story," he said.
Another aspect that the judges are paying attention to is the attitude of the participants during the quarantine process.
