Instagram Account Disappeared, Ahmad Dhani Accuses Private TV Leader of Silencing Him

Kapanlagi.com - Ahmad Dhani's Instagram account (@ahmaddhaniofficial) suddenly disappeared on Sunday (3/5/2026). Previously, through his personal Instagram account, Dhani spoke out about why his daughter, Safeea, was crying at her brother El Rumi's siraman ceremony.

In that post, Dhani mentioned that his ex-wife was having an affair with the leader of a private TV station. A few days after making this post, his Instagram account disappeared.

1. Update on Dewa 19 Account

Upon discovering that his personal Instagram account was missing, Dhani did not remain silent. He posted a photo on the official Dewa 19 account. "MY IG MAY BE DEAD BUT THE TRUTH CANNOT BE BURIED," he wrote on the photo he uploaded to the Dewa 19 account.

"I am a man who fights for your honor @shafeeamd_," he wrote in the caption. The comments section for this post was then promptly closed.

2. Accuses Private TV Leader of Silencing Dhani

Not long after, Ahmad Dhani's team released a statement to the media regarding the disappearance of the personal Instagram account of Mulan Jameela's husband. He strongly condemned this action and felt he was being silenced.

"The takeover or disconnection of ADP's Instagram account is a form of abuse of power that is strongly suspected to be carried out by certain media TV leaders in collaboration with paid buzzer groups.
We consider this action a cowardly attempt to cover up the truth regarding the infidelity scandal involving ME," stated the statement from Dhani's team.

3. Silenced by False Reports?

The Dhani side also mentioned that this action is the same as spreading untruths in infotainment a few years ago. Now, the Dhani side accuses their 'opponents' of using social media to silence them.

"If in the past, opinion manipulation was done through infotainment channels, now they are using the power of algorithms and false reports on social media to silence our voices. We will not remain silent in the face of this character assassination effort."
