Instagram Influencer Laura Anna Paralyzed Due to Accident, Gaga Muhammad Former Awkarin Faces Five Years in Prison

Kapanlagi.com - YouTuber Gaung Sabda Alam Muhammad, or better known as Gaga Muhammad, has officially been detained at Rutan (Detention House) Satlantas Metro East Jakarta since November 2, 2021, in relation to a traffic accident case. In this case, Gaga is also undergoing a trial process at the East Jakarta District Court.

Currently, the trial has reached the witness stage from the Public Prosecutor. Handri Dwi Z, as the Public Prosecutor (JPU), plans to present four witnesses at the hearing scheduled for Thursday, December 9, 2021.

"Thursday, at one o'clock, it's still our witnesses. Because there are still five more witnesses," said Handri Dwi Z at the East Jakarta District Court on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

At least, there are four witnesses presented by the Public Prosecutor in the trial, two of whom are police officers.

"Basically, there are two police officers, and then there are also two civilian parties if I'm not mistaken," he said.

Regarding the upcoming trial, Gaga Muhammad will not be present in person. He will only be present virtually. According to Handri, it is within the authority of the panel of judges.

"That is the authority of the panel of judges, if the panel of judges requests his presence, we will bring him. Because so far, the standard operating procedure is online," he said.

In relation to this case, Gaga is charged under Article 310 paragraph 3 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning traffic and road transportation regulations. If proven guilty, the 20-year-old man faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

"The article applied is Article 310 paragraph 3 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning traffic and road transportation regulations. The maximum penalty is 5 years," concluded Handri.

It is known that previously, Gaga Muhammad was involved in an accident in 2019. As a result of the accident, Gaga's former girlfriend who was in the car became paralyzed.
