Irish Bella Shares Her Bond with Her Stepchildren Who Work as Doctors

Irish Bella is currently enjoying her new role as a mother to her stepchildren after marrying Haldy Sabri. Although she initially felt worried, Irish admits she is very grateful because the relationship that has developed is actually very harmonious and without boundaries.

Their closeness is even like that of best friends. Irish expressed that her stepchildren often ask for her opinion on small things like fashion choices, which shows a high level of trust between them.

"I’m really happy. At first, it was something that was feared, you know, initially. But thank God, Allah is so good. It just feels like a perfect fit. It’s like being friends with the kids. It’s like they also feel like they have a new confidant, a new friend to talk to," said Irish Bella when met in the Kramat area, Central Jakarta, Saturday (25/6/2026).

"When it comes to things like, 'Mom, what should I wear for this event later? What should I wear, Mom?' Like that. So I manage things like that. It feels like... a friend, a playmate, something like that. There are no boundaries," she added.

Haldy Sabri also added that his children have a solid medical education background. One of them is even ready to take the doctor’s oath in the near future. "The one in Semarang is already in the 6th semester now. So they are also working on their thesis. Soon they will also start their clinical practice, Insya Allah. As for Kak Syifa, she just needs to take the oath," explained Haldy Sabri.

This situation makes Irish Bella feel more at ease facing old age later on. The presence of children who understand the medical world at home is considered a very big blessing for her.

In fact, the family no longer seeks consultations from outside doctors for minor ailments like the flu or fever. They prefer to ask their own child directly.

"It feels peaceful, right, dear? So in old age, there’s someone to take care of you. Now, if the younger siblings are sick, they usually ask their older sibling," she said. "For minor illnesses, like the flu or fever, we don’t consult outside doctors. We consult our own child instead. Thank God, it’s a result of patience, I guess," said Irish.

Irish hopes this happiness continues as she turns 30 years old. She has a mission to become a more beneficial person for her family and many others.

"Of course, with age, I want to become a more useful person. Especially since Allah has given me a position with everything I have. There must be a purpose that needs to be fulfilled," she concluded.
