Irwansyah's Mother Passed Away, Conscious from Coma When Hearing the Recitation of the Quran

The miracle happened when Herliana's condition worsened due to not receiving medication. Herliana, who was in a coma, regained consciousness when the nurse played the recitation of the holy verses of the Quran given by Irwansyah and Zaskia Sungkar, even though the doctor had given up.

Not only did she open her eyes, but Herliana could even raise her hand and leave a message to the nurse to keep the recitation playing.

"Mama woke up, mama only spoke to the nurse, asking not to turn off the recitation," said Zaskia Sungkar.

"She raised her hand in the video to show that I am still alive, that I am still fighting, and mama asks her child to keep fighting too," added Irwansyah.

After regaining consciousness from a coma, Irwansyah's mother's condition gradually improved. Herliana's saturation, which was initially below 50 percent, slowly improved and she could even communicate regularly with her family through video calls.

Furthermore, Herliana even requested to go home after waking up from the coma. At that time, Irwansyah promised to immediately pick up his mother and bring her home as soon as Herliana's health condition improved.

According to Irwansyah and Zaskia Sungkar, Herliana's awakening from the coma after hearing the recitation of the Quran is proof of her love for the Quran. Throughout her life, the deceased was known as a person who never left her worship and was so close to the sacred verses that she had recited them multiple times.

Herliana's awakening also became the last opportunity for Irwansyah and his siblings to apologize to their mother, even though it was only through a video call. As it is known, Herliana, who was suffering from Covid-19, could not meet her family while being treated at the hospital.

After a long struggle, it turns out that the Creator has other plans for Irwansyah's mother. On Wednesday (4/8), Herliana took her last breath and followed her beloved father, Umar Effendi, who passed away on Thursday (8/7).

The sad news of the passing of Irwansyah's mother was first known to the public through an upload by Jannah Travel, a business owned by Zaskia Sungkar and Irwansyah.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiun. The entire @jannahtravel extended family mourns the death of Mother Herliana (Mother of Mr. Irwansyah and Mr. Hafiz Fathur)," wrote the Instagram account, a few minutes ago.

Meanwhile, Zaskia Sungkar and Irwansyah were seen making a video call with their family. Irwansyah held a tissue that was already wet with tears.

"Gather in heaven, God willing, Mom. Allahummaghfirlaha warhamha wa'afiha wa'fu anha," wrote Zaskia Sungkar.
