Jakarta Will Implement PSBB, Hotman Paris Sends WhatsApp to Anies Baswedan

Kapanlagi.com - Considering the ongoing pandemic situation that shows no signs of improvement, Jakarta is planning to reintroduce Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) starting from Monday (14/9) tomorrow. Of course, this decision has sparked various pros and cons from the public.

Famous lawyer, Hotman Paris, also voiced his opinion regarding this decision. Not only expressing his aspirations through social media, the father of three even contacted the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.

"PSBB. Ancol will be closed. But Hotman has communicated with Governor Anies Baswedan. Hotman's suggestion is to open Ancol specifically for sports activities. Only sports facilities, while entertainment venues are closed. In fact, sports activities are the ones that boost immunity. Of course, officials must be provided on the field to prevent people from gathering, cheering close to each other, not maintaining distance. And the time for this activity should be limited, maybe from 5 am to 10 am only for sports," Hotman stated in one of his Instagram posts.

1. Replied and Approved by Anies Baswedan

It didn't take long, apparently Hotman's input was immediately accepted and approved by Mr. Anies. The announcement was revealed by Hotman himself through another Instagram post.

"Hotman just received a WhatsApp message from the Governor, Mr. Anies, that our sports facilities in Ancol will remain open. Ancol itself will be closed in general," explained the 60-year-old man.

"This sentence is the content of the WhatsApp message from the Governor of DKI to Gus Hotman after the Governor saw Hotman's post requesting that the open area and sports facilities in Ancol be opened during the PSBB," he explained.

2. PSBB Opposed by Nikita Mirzani

Previously, sensational actress Nikita Mirzani openly expressed her disagreement with the PSBB decision. The woman, who is familiarly called Nyai, even mentioned Anies Baswedan's name in her post.

"Dear Mr. @aniesbaswedan, who is handsome and charming. Let me introduce myself, I am Nikita Mirzani. My ID card is from Jakarta, but thank God I didn't vote for you. May I? Here, I just want to convey my voice as an Indonesian citizen and a resident of Jakarta. Honestly, I was surprised when I read the news that there will be a large-scale PSBB on the 14th," Niki wrote.

"Sir, maybe it's okay for you. Me and the rich people out there won't be a big problem. But what about the fate of those people out there whose salary is not enough every month to pay rent, school fees for their children, and buy food, not to mention buying data packages for learning," Niki added.

3. Request for Anies Baswedan to Perform Tahajud Prayer

As known, Jakarta will be the first city to reimpose PSBB. This fact has not escaped Niki's attention.

"I think all this time you have been looking for a solution for this corona to narrow down and disappear even though it is impossible. Because COVID-19 is a global problem, not just in Indonesia. But why only Jakarta that has PSBB again? Why not other regions? Will there be more people laid off? Virtual school alone is driving me crazy," she emphasized.

At the end of her writing, Niki asked Pak Anies to reconsider his decision. If necessary, Anies is also asked to perform tahajud prayer to open up his thinking.

"It's a pity for the citizens who have chosen you. Please, sir, perform tahajud or istiqoro first. Maybe Allah SWT will show you the way," Niki concluded.
