Jane Shalimar Doesn't Know Arsya Doesn't Meet Marriage Requirements at KUA

Kapanlagi.com - The name Jane Shalimar and her husband, Arsya Wijaya or commonly known as Cecep, are currently the talk of the town due to their marriage, which has not yet reached one year and is now on the rocks. In fact, this marriage of Jane Shalimar has not been officially registered by the state yet because Cecep has not fulfilled the marriage requirements with Jane Shalimar.

"Regarding the marital status of Jane Shalimar and Cecep, we will clarify this. First, regarding the registration of marriage, our client has obtained permission from the local government in accordance with the ID card, to get married at the wedding venue," said Ramdhan Alamsyah during a press conference in South Tangerang area, Tuesday (12/1).

1. Jane Doesn't Know If She Lacks Requirements

Ramdhan also confirmed that Jane Shalimar did not know that there were still lacking marriage requirements with Cecep. Nevertheless, Jane and Cecep's marriage has already taken place and has been attended by the Karawang KUA.

"Mr. Cecep has also made it, but in the process, we only found out today that apparently what was conveyed still lacks administration. Although the marriage has been carried out in fact and representatives from the Karawang KUA were present," he said.

2. Arsya's Status Has Not Changed

In addition, the obstacle felt by Jane Shalimar is that Cecep's Identity Card (KTP) still bears the married status. The KUA emphasized the need for a change in status on Cecep's KTP if he wants to marry Jane Shalimar legally.

"So this marriage is indeed recorded. Then, in the process, there is an obstacle, namely that Cecep's KTP status has not been changed, after the divorce, it should be changed to widower or not married," he explained.

"The KUA feels that it needs to be changed first. According to us, the divorce certificate can actually be recorded by the KUA based on the court's data," he concluded.
