Jason Ranti Proud His Son Participated in the International Mathematics Olympiad, Immediately Treats Him to All You Can Eat

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Jason Ranti feels proud of his son's achievement, Christopher Jacob Ranti, affectionately known as Koko, who successfully won a bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) X 2025. However, he could not attend in person in Malaysia because he had a performance in Solo.

"Jeje (Jason Ranti) is very proud, especially since Koko is very different from him. Unfortunately, Jeje could not join because he has a performance schedule in Solo," said Anastasia Carolina or Oline, Jason Ranti's wife, when contacted by Kapanlagi.com on Monday (27/1/2025).

After the results were announced, Olin immediately contacted her husband to share the happy news. As a form of appreciation, she and her husband gave a simple gift that matched Koko's interests.

"As soon as the results came out, we immediately called Jeje. We only promised (Koko) a meal at an all-you-can-eat restaurant because Koko loves to eat. He enjoys dining at Shabu Hachi," said Oline.

1. Journey in SEAMO X

SEAMO X is the final round of SEAMO, an international mathematics competition involving participants from various countries in Southeast Asia and beyond. This event, held in Kuala Lumpur from January 17-20, 2025, is attended by thousands of participants from 22 countries.

Koko had the opportunity to compete in SEAMO X after passing the national selection in Indonesia. In that selection, he won a silver medal, which qualified him for the final round in Malaysia.

"The participants are thousands from 22 countries. This bronze medal is an extraordinary achievement because the competition is the best from each country," said Oline.

Koko's participation in SEAMO began with a recommendation from one of the parents of a student at Cita Buana school, where he studies. Oline received information that Koko had great talent in mathematics.

"There was one parent at Koko's school who said that their child is smart in class. I was recommended to participate in SEAMO," concluded Olin.
