Jessica Iskandar is About to Give Birth to Her Third Child, Hopes for a Normal Delivery

Kapanlagi.com - Jessica Iskandar is preparing for a special moment to give birth to her third child, which is reported to be scheduled for today, Monday (12/2/2024). Meeting in the Grogol area, West Jakarta, Jessica expressed her hope to have a normal delivery, just like her previous experiences.

"I am still trying for a normal delivery. Hopefully, it can be normal. Because my experience has been a normal delivery, I am actually afraid of having a cesarean," Jessica said on Saturday (11/30/2024).

Although she hopes for a smooth delivery, Jessica does not deny the nervousness she feels. She admitted to being worried because her blood pressure has been high recently.

"Actually, I am a bit nervous, because I’m just afraid that high blood pressure can cause the baby to have difficulty getting oxygen. Just avoiding that because my responsibility of being pregnant is big, so hopefully everything will be fine," she said.

1. Complete Preparation

Jessica added that the preparation for childbirth has been thoroughly done, including her husband Vincent Verhaag's readiness. He was even asked by the doctor to go to the ER the night before, but he requested time to finish his activities first.

"The preparation is that my husband is on standby, so actually last night the doctor told us to go to the ER, but I asked if we could wait until after today, after lunch," she said.

Although her blood pressure was still fluctuating, the doctor allowed Jessica to attend the event before finally returning to the hospital.

"So if the doctor says it's okay. After checking again, her blood pressure was still fluctuating, so she was still allowed to attend today's event," Jessica said.

2. Optimistic for Smoothness

After the event, Jessica plans to head straight to the ER for further examination. Several tests such as checking the baby's heart, urine, and blood pressure are her priorities.

"After this, I will go straight to the ER to check the baby's heart, check urine, and more detailed blood pressure," she added.

Jessica acknowledged that this pregnancy gives her a great responsibility, especially with her health condition that needs to be continuously monitored. However, she remains optimistic that everything will go smoothly.

For your information, Jessica has two children from two marriages. Her first child, El Barack, was born from a previous relationship, while her second child, Don Azaiah Jan Verhaag, is the fruit of her love with Vincent.
