Jessica Iskandar Shocked to the Point of Giving a Firm Warning When Don Used Harsh Words

The beautiful actress Jessica Iskandar recently shared a shocking experience related to the development of her son, Don Azaiah Jan Verhaag. As a mother, the woman affectionately known as Jedar allows her children to socialize with the environment around their home. However, this freedom sometimes brings unexpected outcomes.

The wife of Vincent Verhaag expressed her shock upon learning that her son suddenly used inappropriate words. In fact, those words were never taught at home. This incident occurred while Don was happily playing with the neighborhood children.

"So actually, I never set limits for the kids to play outside like that. I never restricted them from playing with the neighborhood kids. But sometimes what happens is beyond the expectations of mothers, right?" said Jessica Iskandar when met in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, some time ago.

The actor from the movie Dealova tells that the report initially came from the nurse who was looking after Don. She heard the little one say the word 'mampus' while joking with his friends. Hearing this, Jedar immediately approached Don to provide some understanding.

"So one of the incidents was yesterday when I was coming home, not even home yet, I already received a report from Don's nurse that Don was joking around saying 'Mampus lo'. That's really rude, right? At home, he was never taught that, and the shows at home are mostly in English," Jedar revealed.

When reprimanded, Don explained that he was just repeating what older kids said. It turns out that the words were first said by one of his playmates when someone fell down. Little Don was just imitating without knowing the meaning.

"Then Don said, 'Yeah, but the older sibling was the first to say that when he fell, so I just followed.' Oh well, but Don has to know now, okay? Mama has already told him that those words are not good and shouldn't be said by Don because they are rude and disrespectful," she said.

This incident did not make Jedar immediately close herself off from the neighborhood environment. Instead, she took the opportunity to educate other children present at the scene. Jedar wants the playing atmosphere to remain healthy without any hurtful words.

"And you also have neighbor kids there, 'Those words are not allowed when playing together. We can play together but we shouldn’t say things like that because it’s rude,' I also let them know. So Don shouldn’t say that again," concluded Jedar.Â
