Shocking news comes from actor Jonathan Frizzy alias JF who has now officially been designated as a suspect by the police. This status designation is related to the alleged use of vape liquid containing etomidate, which is classified as a hard drug.
"Yes, JF (has been designated as a suspect)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters on Monday (5/5/2025).
This case emerged after the Narcotics Unit of the Soekarno Hatta Airport Police, together with Customs, conducted an investigation in March 2025. The examination revealed imported vape liquid containing etomidate, which is classified as a hard drug according to the Health Law.
Etomidate is an anesthetic drug typically used for induction anesthesia procedures. In this case, the police first secured three suspects with the initials BTR, ER, and EDS. None of them are from the entertainment industry.
Based on the examination of the three suspects, the police obtained additional information that led to the name Jonathan Frizzy. This information was then followed up by the authorities.
JF was summoned for questioning as a witness for the first time on April 17, 2025. That examination has been completed. However, when the second summons was issued on April 21, the management stated that JF was hospitalized.
The Soekarno Hatta Airport Police plan to hold a press conference regarding this case on the same day as the determination of the suspect. Several media personnel have prepared to follow the latest developments.
Benny Simanjuntak, who is known to be close to Jonathan Frizzy, when contacted by the media via phone on Monday (5/5/2025) immediately gave a brief response."I want to go to the police station now," said Benny.
When asked further about his actions regarding the case involving his nephew's name, Benny chose to withhold comment."I don't want to comment, I'll just go there later," he concluded.
