This was revealed by Ijonk's legal team after a follow-up trial at the Tangerang District Court on Wednesday (20/8/2025). According to one of his lawyers, Lamgok Heryanto Silalahi, Ijonk is currently dedicating all his thoughts and energy to focus on facing this case.

Jonathan Frizzy was detained at the Class IIA Youth Prison in Tangerang after being named a suspect in a vape case allegedly containing hard drugs. He is accused of distributing hard drugs and faces a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison. Ijonk's legal counsel stated that despite the difficult circumstances, his client continues to try to focus on the trial, which is scheduled to involve witnesses from his driver and household staff.

"Maybe he often exercises there, and he really needs to focus 100 percent on this issue first," said Lamgok after the trial.

Lamgok also confirmed that the family has visited Ijonk. However, their absence in court was a strategic decision to allow Ijonk to concentrate fully on the trial proceedings.

"The family has visited. As far as we know, the difference between us who visited and the family that visited is that we are exclusive. We just asked earlier, 'Ijonk, did any family visit you?', 'Yes,' he said," said Lamgok.

"No (the family did not accompany him to the trial). He is focused on this and he feels that everything is going well," he revealed.

3. Driver and Housekeeper Witnesses in Court

Meanwhile, today’s hearing presented the driver and housekeeper Ijonk as witnesses. According to Andreas Nahot Silitonga, who is also part of the legal advisory team, the testimonies of both witnesses further strengthen the defense that his client was unaware of the contents of the vape that became the evidence.

"Because based on the witnesses' statements earlier, it was indeed Erna and Bahrun who ordered it, there is no indication that Ijonk knew about the contents of that cartridge," said Andreas.

The trial process will continue on August 26, 2025. After hearing witnesses from the actor's close circle, the next agenda is to hear witnesses from the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

"If the next agenda includes factual witnesses from the JPU and expert witnesses," said Daka Silitonga, another member of the legal team.
