Husband Claims Mpok Alpa's Illness Has No Connection to Mystical Terror

Responding to this, her husband, Adji Darmaji alias Idung, firmly denied it. He clarified that the illness suffered by his wife was purely medical and was already destined by the Creator.

"No. For me, that is already a call from Allah, because it is already determined," Idung firmly stated when met in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, some time ago.

Idung does not deny that in the past, especially at the beginning of her career, Mpok Alpa often encountered strange things at her home. Starting from the mysterious disappearance of a red centipede to a black chicken that was intentionally thrown in front of the garage.

"Not to mention that, even when Mpok just started her career, strange things like that were often encountered at home," he revealed.

However, he assured that all those terrors happened a long time ago, about a year before Mpok Alpa fell ill. Idung and Mpok Alpa never bothered about it, let alone trying to find out who was behind it.

"No. Just leave it to Allah. I really avoid things like that," he said.

They hold the principle of always being grateful and sincere if someone does evil. According to Mpok Alpa, retaliating against evil with evil will only make them no different.

"That's why Mpok says, 'If you are wronged by someone, just be grateful,' like that. If we are not grateful, we oppose that, we retaliate, we are no different from them," reminisced Idung.
