The Touching Moment of the Twins, Fussy and Calm After Being Given Mpok Alpa's Last Clothes

The father, Adji Darmaji, recounted a touching moment that occurred on the night after Mpok Alpa passed away. His twin babies suddenly became very fussy and kept crying.

"Yeah, they were a bit unwell, quite fussy last night," Adji said on Saturday (16/8/2025).

In the midst of his confusion trying to calm his children, Adji remembered an old belief. He then tried to practice that advice to soothe the cries of his two children.

"And back in the day, they said, just stick the mother's clothes on them, like that," he said.

Adji then took the last clothes worn by the late Mpok Alpa and placed them on the twins. Miraculously, their cries gradually subsided and both became calm.

"Where is their mother's last outfit, they really stopped crying like that," said Adji.

This moment became evidence of the strong bond between Mpok Alpa and her children. The scent of the mother that lingered on the clothes seemed to be a remedy for longing and provided peace for the little souls who had lost their mother's embrace.

Now, the responsibility of raising the twins and their two older siblings rests on Adji's shoulders. Nevertheless, he continues to strive to be the best father and ensure his children still feel love, even though it's now in a different form.

"God willing, if that's maintained, the children are number one for me," he asserted.

During Mpok Alpa's intensive care for a month in the hospital, communication with the children never ceased. They were always connected through video calls just to relieve their longing.

"Most of the time we video call, from milk, food, still not forgetting, still communicating. We can video call the kids," Adji concluded.
